My name is Pallavi Salvi and I am a Kathak dancer. My dance practice gives me the spiritual strength to carry my art form forward. Seeing the dance devalued every day within society breaks my heart. About Pallavi's farewell fundraiser in dedication towards the art

As I pack my bags in preparation for my move to California, I take with me the love & warmth of all my friends & family. Everyone has a dream, but to step into your power to make your dream a reality is out of the ordinary. As a South Asian immigrant woman building a home among many obstacles, in an unfamiliar place, I dared to dream.  On October 2nd, please join me for a donation yoga class at 12p MT at Sumit's Yoga, located in Denver Tech Center. All proceeds will go to Leela Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the financial infrastructure necessary for India's artistic heritage to thrive.
